How to clean wooden chopping board ?
Method 1:
- Scouring pad infected with salt, and then along the grain of board form the top to bottom. If the board is round , the clockwise brush.
- It soak with hot water at 40 to 45ºC for several minutes, then to wash with a scouring pad.
- Rinsing with water, then have it air-dried.
Method 2:
- Rinsing board with water at 40 to 45ºC by scouring pad, then have it air-dried.
- If it has oil stains on the board, scrub with thinned- out detergent (1 part of detergent in 50 parts of water), Rinsing again with hot water. Then have it air-dried.
Method 3 :
- It use salt, white vinegar and hot water (1 part of salt and 1 part of white vinegar into 20 parts of hot water), then rinsing the board with the mixture by scouring pad.
- Then have it air-dried.
Method 4:
- Cut a lemon in half and rub off the oil stains and smell from the board.
- Rinsing board with water at 40 to 45ºC. Then have it air-dried.
Notice : Do not use dish-washing detergent directly on the board. Because the concentrate detergent is difficult to rinse off. It will stay in the wood grains and accumulate over time and make the board will rot and unhygienic.
