Tips : 1. The chocolate melt method is in a hot water bath. And it is not add in hot water.
2. After butter mix flour, it remove from heat. Because the mixture is coke black easily.
3. The amount of sugar can increase or decrease with personal preference.
Ingredients
- Butter 20 g
- Plain Flour 10 g
- Milk 150 ml
- Dark Chocolate(melted) 50 g
- Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
- Egg Yolk 2 pc
- Egg White 3 pc
- Caster Sugar 20g
- Icing Sugar some
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 C. Brush on some butter onto 6 pieces of souffle cup.
Step 2
Melt the butter in low heat. Add in sieved flour, stir and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add in milk, stirring and cook until reaching boiling point.
Step 3
Add in dark chocolate and vanilla essence. Remove from heat and cool down.
Step 4
Add egg yolk and mix well. Place in big bowl, set aside.
Step 5
Whisk the egg white until soft peaks form. Then , add in sugar and whisk until glossy. Pour into mixture and mix well. Place the mixture into the souffle cup until 80% full.
Step 6
Place on the oven tray. Put in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until done.
Step 7
Remove and sprinkle with some icing sugar on top. Ready to serve.
