Linguine with Clams, Garlic, White Wine & Italian Parsley

The clam is fresh. The taste of spaghetti is with butter and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Linguine Pasta 400 g
  • Clam(washed, scrubed) 400 g
  • Olive Oil 25 ml
  • Butter 25 g
  • Small Onion (finely chopped) 1 pc
  • Garlic(finely chopped) 1 clove
  • White Wine 100 ml
  • Italian Parsley(chopped) 25 g
  • Salt or Sea Salt some
  • Black Pepper Powder some

Method

Step 1

Cook pasta in plenty of salted boiling water.

Step 2

Heat oil and butter in pan, sauteed garlic and onion until soft.

Step 3

Add white wine and bring to the boil, reduce slightly then add the clams, cover with lid allow clams to steam and open.

Step 4

Discard any un-opened clams, when pasta is cooked but still firm add to the clams and simmer together for 1 minute, add chopped parsley and adust seasoning. Serve in warm bowls.
